Compact Computer as
a CompactFlash device
The Compact Computer can be inserted
into a Compact Flash slot on a computer, hand held or legacy devices.
The FPGA is programmed to present a COM port to the host computer
allowing communications using a terminal emulator or simple software.
You can develop you own
CompactFlash devices and use the SPI, RS232,
LCD/Video/Digitial IO or SPORT signals that are taken to the top
connector.
The FPGA can be
reprogrammed to present any interface to the host to allow any legacy
equipment to communicate with no legacy software changes. The FPGA
could be reprogrammed as a storage card and the data accessed instantly
via the RS232 or SPI and transmitted remotly via a GSM modem.
